Testing Thermal Grease and Liquid Metal on the PS4 Pro CUH-7000 Series - the hottest and noisiest of all PlayStation 4 Pro models.
For the test, I chose the most popular Arctic MX-4 thermal paste and Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut liquid metal.
To measure the heating temperature of the PlayStation 4 Pro, I use two sensors: the white sensor I connect directly to the heatsink, and the black sensor will measure the temperature of the air blown out of the game console's cooling system.

What is the non-conductive liquid black isolator material you brushed onto the processor, before applying the liquid metal?
And, specifically for the PS4 Pro, if you were to also replace the thermal heat transfer pads on the small/tiny processors, what is the correct thickness needed for those new pads?
And, is there more than one pad thickness used on the PS4 Pro?

I m quit sure the thickness for ps4 pro pads is 1 mm. I did it with 1 mm and works very good. The liquid can be everything non conductiv paint for example nail polish. (No Joke) But there special coatinhd like „thermal grizzly tg shield“
