Mt. Fury Roadmaster Brake Pad Replacement

Brake pads tend to wear down with use over time. Use this guide if you feel your brake pads have worn down enough that a replacement is necessary.

    • Locate and remove the dome nut with a 10mm open-end wrench.

    • Inspect brake pad for wear.

    • Dome nut (left), lock washer (middle), and brake pad (right).

    • Be sure to save the dome nut and lock washer just in case the replacement brake shoe does not include them.

    • When installing the new brake shoe, make sure it is properly aligned so it is in full contact with the edge of the rim.
