The start switch is an output component of the saw that helps the saw to power on. If the start switch of the Milwaukee Circular Saw 263020 B57A 2008 is broken or damaged by excessive usage or making a loud noise while starting the saw, this is caused when the spring underneath the start switch is misaligned or damaged. This loud noise is known as “click of death.” If this happens, you may need to replace the start switch of the saw.

Remove the nine 6 mm screws using a Torx T4 screwdriver.

Remove the single 8 mm screw at the bottom that attaches the panels together using a Torx T6 screwdriver.

Slowly pull and remove the front panel of the saw that connects to the blade side with your hand, and separate it from the motor.

Take the start switch out of the device gently without moving any other hardware.
