If your Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5-1570 does not recognize when devices are plugged into the USB port then your device may have a faulty USB port. The USB port allows the laptop to connect to other devices such as a wireless mouse or an external hard drive. This guide will show you how to successfully replace the USB port. Step 10 requires you to desolder the faulty USB port and resolder a new USB port on to the motherboard, so make sure to read the How to Solder and Desolder Connections guide.
