The motherboard of the LG Optimus Zone 3 is a circuit board that is the backbone of the phone. It is responsible for connecting various parts of the phone and allows for communication between these parts so your device can function properly.

I have yet to see this disassembly performed in a video online without incurring damage to the digitizer. All the videos show removal of the digitizer (cracking and splintering as they go), then the LCD. It looks like its not possible to remove them together due to the amount of adhesive LG uses under the digitizer at the top and bottom of the phone. It is unlikely that the digitizer would remain undamaged during the removal process regardless. Maybe if the adhesive is heated enough without melting the frame it may come willingly.
Anyone care to demonstrate otherwise?
So with that in mind it looks like I’ll need to order another digitizer before I pull a good LCD and (soon to be broken) good digitizer from a donor phone to replace the broken pair in my phone.
Just sayin’
