In a measuring cup, add 1 cup of white vinegar.

Turn off the machine.
Twist off the water reservoir cap.

Remove the steaming wand cover.
Place the cup where the steaming wand is emerged in the descaling solution.
Soak the steaming wand for 1-2 hours.

Place an empty cup or mug under the steaming wand.
Turn the knob to the steam setting.
If no steam comes out repeat steps 4-6.

Let the machine sit overnight to depressurize.
Unscrewing the reservoir cap before letting it sit overnight could result in the machine improperly depressurizing and expelling the hot descaling solution.

Twist off the water reservoir cap.
Pour out the remaining descaling solution.
Rinse the reservoir twice by filling it with water and pouring it out.
