remove the residues of the glue. I used alcohol and a blade

connect the 2 different FPCs. Blue to blue and red to red circle.

glue and seal the display. In this case T-700 was used

let it set, you're done!

Hey! How do you suggest getting the screen off if it’s not as shattered at yours?. Picking away at the crack? I would post a pic but not seeing how to do that… I’m going to attempt. Figure local cell phone repair places will charge half its value if they’ll even do it.

Ricky, likely it's because many capacitive touchscreens rely on proper grounding through the device’s chassis or frame. I, too, replaced a screen a few days ago and also found out that the touch screen is not registering any touches when the new display is connected to the main board and not seated into the device enclosure (not needed to be glued to try out).
