Frigidaire FFET1222QS Light Bulb Replacement

Inleiding

If your Frigidaire FFET1222QS has a dead light bulb, follow this guide to replace it.

Make sure to unplug the fridge from the wall socket before proceeding.

Using two hands, remove the plastic latch that's covering the dead light bulb.
To remove the latch, place both of your thumbs on the front face of the latch. Then, with your thumbs slowly push/squeeze the face of the latch, until the latch comes off.

Slowly unscrew the dead bulb in the counterclockwise direction to remove it from the socket.

Get the new light bulb and screw it into the empty bulb socket clockwise.

Plug the fridge back into the wall socket, then check if the light bulb is working.

If the light bulb works, return the latch to its original position using your two hands.
When returning the latch make sure the latch’s front face is in the right direction.
Then slowly connect the latch to cover the new bulb and makes sure it is secured before closing the fridge door.
