    • Switch off the tablet.

    • Press and hold the Power and the Volume Up keys.

    • When you see the Samsung logo, release only the Power key. Use the Volume Up/Down keys for scrolling and the Power key for OK.

    • From the Android recovery menu select one by one:

    • - wipe data/factory reset

    • - Yes -- delete all user data

    • - reboot system now

    I did all of the above numerous times and still will not go past the smarttab logo

Hello.Its not successfull.I follow the instruction but when i already press the reboot system now its turning off again and my tab 2 restart again.I do it many times but its still the same.how can i fix my tab?Please do help me.its been a month when i cant use it.thanks.

I had my tab into hard reset and when I tried to select reboot system now, it didn't turn on even though I left it for how many hours. What should I do? I tried to turn it on but it keeps on going back to android system recovery.

i have done as directed by sammobile on downloading Odin & firmware, & have completed the download of the firmware, "I get a pass" on the Odin file but all I get is the home screen and nothing further. I've tried different firmware, to no avail. Now my home screen is also stuck in French! When I check the android man it still shows him down with an ! . Please help.

Hi there,

I believe I might have a virus issue, not sure :(. My Galaxy Note 2 tablet seems to stuck with flicking on and off Samsung galaxy Note logo. Tried the technique mention above many time it does seems to work at all. I got the android guy showing internal mechanical issue. I even having trouble power off. It's ridiculous! Please help!!!

Not working for me.

I get to the reboot screen, can select the options with volume keys, use the home button to select option (wipe data/ factory reset) and the selected options turns from blue to green but does nothing.
