What if my side power button doesn’t work?
Are there any preconditions? Like should the iPhone be ON before step 1?
Are there any side effects? Like resetting momory, settings, etc?
I pressed up volume button and lower volume button I don’t see anything
The picture makes it look like you need to start this process with the phone turned on already, but I think you need to start with it powered off - that’s the only way that long-pressing the power button in Step 2 causes the Apple logo to appear.

For an iPhone 8, step #3 is to press and hold the right-side button. Continue holding the button down until the apple logo appears, then release.

what if the apple logo appears but nothing else happens. it just keeps showing the logo.
