Cleaning the Condenser of an Ice cream maker

Inleiding

This Fast Fix is about cleaning so gloves and face mask are recommended to avoid any contact with dirt. It is very important to clean the condenser of the ice cream maker to avoid any long term damage on the machine. Keeping the machine cleaned regularly is an efficient way to make sure the machine does not get damaged or ruined. Turning on and off the machine maybe different than what is shown in these pictures. Filters of the machine may look different than the filters shown in these pictures, but they all should be taken off in order to clean the condenser.

Important: When done cleaning, make sure the filter and condenser is fully dried before placing it back in the machine to avoid any water going into the machine.

Power off the machine by taking the plug out.

Put on gloves and a face mask to avoid any direct contact with dirt.

Take off the cover panel of the ice cream machine.

Look for any dirt sitting on the condenser.

Clean the filter with soap and water and make sure to rinse thoroughly after the soap is applied with warm water. Be sure the filter is fully dried before placing it back.
