Inleiding

This is a necessary procedure for replacing the flash of the Canon EOS Rebel XS 35mm camera, which is located on top of the camera. This guide details how to remove the flash and put a flash back in, whether it's the same flash now fixed, or a new one.

If this isn't working, try these things not shown in the pictures: 1) using a spudger, your nail, or the like to pry it open; or 2) pull it open with your finger and thumb on either side of it.
