If you are having problems winding new film into the camera and you have checked the crank and cleaned it, It might be that the crank needs to be replaced. This guide will help walk you through how to replace the broken film rewind crank. There are some hard to reach screws to remove the film rewind crank so a longer Philips #00 screwdriver is recommended. This replacement is overall a fast replacement after the two screws are removed.
It is hard to find this specific part on eBay or Amazon but people do sell broken cameras to be used for pieces that can be purchased.

Raise the film crank to reveal the two screws under it.

Remove the two screws with a Phillips #00 screwdriver and lift the film crank out of the camera.
