Inleiding

Motherboards most commonly fail because of an electrical surge or because the computer was dropped. The tools needed for this replacement are listed in the prerequisite guides.

  1. Using a T4 Torx screwdriver, remove the ten screws at the marked locations.

  10. Attach your Anti-Static Wrist Wrap to something metal as to not shock your system.

    • Peel back the warranty sticker to reveal the screw under it.

    • Using your Phillips #00 Precision Screwdriver, unscrew the screw that you just revealed.

  17. Lift gently and flip the motherboard over in the direction of the track pad. Peel off the the yellow tape.

    • Detach the ZIF connector on the underside of the motherboard connecting it to the keyboard.
