HM1301
Background
This Makita Demolition Hammer HM1301 is a suitable tool for breaking through tough surfaces such as concrete, tearing down walls, or removing tiles. This tool is intended for construction workers, contractors, civil engineers, and home improvers. Its swivel handle allows for a comfortable hold and enhances mobility. The weight of the tool creates enough pressure for any surface to break, creating easy control. The HM1301 was released in 2014, but it was discontinued a few years later.
The Makita HM1317cb is a close remodel to the Makita HM1301. The weight, size and power features are similar; the only thing that differs between the two is the color. The HM1301 model is a silver color, and the HM1317cb model is blue.
There is a particular component of this tool that does tend to fail. There is a tendency with motor overheating. Once the HM1301 is overused, and it does not cool down, the motor could establish an overheating problem which can be difficult to resolve.

The HM1301 comes with an attached cord found on the back. The most noticeable part of this Makita demolition hammer model is the silver color that is not found on any other Makita demolition hammer. The model number for HM1301 can be found on the back of the tool.
