Midframe broke at top left black area - glue it back?

Hi everyone,

just like the title says, the midframe broke at the top left black area (just above the volume/ringer switches. So the "top antenna" and the "left antenna" are separated. Is there any way to glue these back together (solder them maybe) and still have the phone be functional? The replacement midframe for a verizon iphone is $150+ (even though it's $10+ for the GSM version!).

The screen is broken, too, and while I've fixed iphone 4 screens before, I don't know if it would be worth spending almost $200 on a screen and midframe to fix the iphone when the "new" iphone may be coming out soon.

Just in case anyone else has this problem instead of buying a new midgrame (for about $150+ but it might be cheaper now), I posted an ad on craigslist asking for a broken "donor" sprint/verizon (CDMA) phone. In my ad I made it clear that I just wanted the "shell" of the phone. Someone contacted me with a phone that had all the parts minus the logic board and battery. It was a Sprint phone (keeping in mind that the my phone was a verizon phone). I switched the pieces into the donor/shell phone and everything worked fine! I actually had to change the charging cable because both my phone and the donor phone had water damage and only worked when plugged in.
