After I start the car and go to rev it up it goes to limited power and it stays in that mode .
Is dit een goede vraag?

Get the vehicle's ODBII port with a scantool and check if any DTC codes have been logged by the ECU. The code will tell you what the problem is
Here's the DTC Index from the service manual that may help (once you know the code).
If you're in the USA places like AutoZone, PepBoys etc will scan the port for codes, for free apparently.

sounds like a transmission problem. Limp mode is designed to get you back home if there is a problem with the transmission. It locks it into a gear, maybe 2nd.

My familiarity, from an '03 GM car and service manuals for it is the engine may suffer from one of several key EFI system parts becoming faulty, resulting in 'reduced power mode', GM language for limp home mode; to allow around 15% power to drive off a highway or street to a safe place to make the emergency call. Key EFI parts; electronic/electrical throttle body, maf, map, O2 sensor, etc.
@notbroken yep, could be that also - question is not very definitive of the issue.

What error codes are there? The check engine indicator should be on with stored error codes ready for retrieval by readers. Mileage, maintenance performed, mods made?
