I replaced my 6 8v batteries to one 48v lithium.

I have a wire from two of the 8v batteries going somewhere, what is it and how do I get around it. 2003 48v club car.

Mike, we can often look up wiring diagrams for a lot of different things, but that requires exact information. In this case we need to know if your golf cart is indeed a Club Car brand, or another brand that you're generically calling a club car. The model information is also vital to our investigations. Finally, a little more information would help, such as the color of the wires.

You might also want to add a picture of those wires and their location to your question so we can see what you're seeing. This guide will show you how to do that.

Hi @mikebaham

Online information indicates that the original batteries for a 2003 48V Club car were the lead acid type.

If this is the case, you would also need to alter or replace the battery charging/management circuit as well to one that is suitable for charging a Lithium battery
