iPhone 3G

Second generation of iPhone. Model A1241 / 8 or 16 GB capacity / black or white plastic back. Repair is more straightforward than the first iPhone. requires screwdrivers, prying, and suction tools.

Why won't my iPhone won't sync?

Phone stopped syncing. The USB ports are all working.

I use an iMac G5, never had the problem. Won't charge

or sync now. It charges at a wall socket but not on computer.

Try replacing your USB cable with a high quality one.

I tried again, after I changed the display panel on my computer and it worked fine.

I don't know what did it but it works.

This happens with some computers, I have the same problem.

I'm not sure, but I think iPhones MUST be attached to USB2.0 ports, with a direct wire.

Try with a hub too.
