It may not be possible on these, since these often lack the BMW infotainment system (but have the BMW engines and their famous issues like the plastic timing chain guides that degrade due to engine heat and cooling system problems). The upspec model often has the setting (Visual boost), but it's often not found on the basic radio - these often have a basic CD/aux radio and a lot of them bury it under OBD coding or engineering menus.

Give this a shot and see, but you may need the 2nd option below:

• Turn on the ignition (press the Start/Stop button once without holding the clutch/brake).
• Navigate the Menu: Use the button on the end of your turn signal stalk (BC button) to scroll through the menu on the tachometer until you see SET/INFO.
• Enter Settings: Press and hold the BC button until the display changes.
• Find the Lighting Icon: Short-press the BC button to scroll through the icons until you see a symbol that looks like a light bulb with a clock/timer or the text HOME.
• Adjust the Time: Press and hold the BC button to enter that setting. You can then short-press the BC button to cycle through the time options (e.g., 0s, 10s, 40s, 90s, up to 240s).
• Save: Once you reach your desired time (or 0s to turn it off completely), press and hold the BC button to save and exit.

If you have an all function (preferably bi) OBD scanner, you can usually code things like this but you need one that explicitly supports BMW coding. Most cheap to midrange bidirectionals aren't reliable there for BMW models, but Autel scanners almost all support it. BimmerCode is also another possible option.
