Japanese PS5 Pro (CFI-7100B01) — is the internal PSU dual voltage?

Hey! Quick question — has anyone here opened a Japanese PS5 Pro (CFI-7000B01 or CFI-7100B01) and checked the voltage on the internal PSU?

Mine says 100V~ 4.2A 50/60Hz on the outside but I know Sony usually uses the same multi-voltage PSU globally and just changes the external label. I need to use it on 220V (Argentina) and want to confirm the PSU, which I assume is ADP-420DR, inside says 100-127V / 200-240V before plugging it in.

A photo of the PSU label would be amazing. Thanks!

Hi!

All the PS5 devices support the 100-240 voltage range.

So yes, it will work. It's correct that it's saying 100V on the outside, but will work with 240 as well.

I saw that thread, but it doesn’t 100% confirm that it is the case with the Japanese Pro. The user even used his regular PS5 with an adapter since he was scared to plug it in directly.

It's the same for all PS5 models. They do work from 100V - 240V.

I do not have a Japanese PS5 Pro here, otherwise I could take it apart and show you the label on the PSU.

If you want to be 10000% sure, you need to open it up and check what it's saying on the PSU :)
