@lenix59344 what exact model is your Elantra? What engine size and what type of transmission does it have (AT or MT)? Now, we need to know more about how it shuts down and when. I know you said after about an hour, but does it stop all of sudden, or does it feel like it's running out of fuel? What have you already checked? Does the Check engine light come on? Does it start right back up or do you have to wait until you can start the engine again?
Right now it does sound like either a fuel or electrical issue.
