I fully charge my e-reader until the battery shows full. I unplug it to read it, and the battery only lasts a few minutes before I have to plug it in again.
Please help.

Seems like the battery needs to be replaced.
Here's a video that shows how to open the tablet that may help. There's also this article as well.
To make it easier to remove the battery, use a syringe to apply a thin line of Isopropyl Alcohol 99%+ (available from electronics parts stores) along the side of the battery to soften the adhesive that is holding the battery in situ. Allow a few minutes for it to have an effect and then use pry tool to gently start prising the battery up from the case. Only prise up a little bit at a time and then apply some more alcohol under the battery, wait and then prise it up a bit more and so on, until it comes out. Be careful and try not to puncture the battery as you are prising it out.
The battery model number is on the battery. Search online for the battery model number or Kobo Libra 2 battery to find suppliers that suit you best.
Remember to dispose of the original battery responsibly. The environment will thank you for doing so.
