As title says. I have replaced the front panel, speaker, and front panel board with other parts that I know work, but there is still no sound. The buttons work like normal.

Hi!
Usually it's the speaker that is broken that is on top of the metal case.
Although, this is the one which is responsible for the sound when you click on a button.
It's connected to the front panel board where the ribbon cable goes in as well.
Then it could be something on the motherboard, but this is very unlikely.. Are you sure that those parts did work before?

yes, i have a 2nd xbox that i tested the speaker on (broken disc drive, waiting for a new one) and the speaker worked fine. just to be safe, i swapped all items mentioned above to the 1st xbox and everything works, just no sound
That is weird... Then it must be something on the motherboard. Can you find anything that look damaged there?
besides 2 capacitors that are slightly tilted, nothing that i can see. Was there anywhere for me to upload pictures for you?
