My camera doesn’t turn on with power button and doesn’t want to zoom .

Yeah, I have the Sony STCH 300. It doesn’t wanna power on with the power button. I hit the play button and it turns on the back screen but I go to take a picture. It turns off doesn’t wanna zoom but if I hit the play button in the back of the screen, the screen will come on
