Why is only the left side of the screen not working?

Nintendo's upgraded version of the Nintendo 3DS. It features bigger screens, longer battery life, better pixel density, and a better design.

Touch screen calibration works normally, however there are issues with the left side of the screen reacting properly. Reason unknown.

In your case, the touchscreen does need a replacement.

I would just replace it and see how that works out!
