change battery to the car key

1. Remove the emergency physical key: Press the small release button or slide the release latch on the fob to pull out the metal emergency key blade.
2. Remove the battery cover:
   • Look into the slot where the key blade was stored, or insert a flathead screwdriver (wrapped in tape to avoid scratching) into the small seam along the back panel.
   • Gently pry upward to pop off the back plastic cover plate.
3. Replace the battery:
   • Use a small flathead screwdriver or precision tool to lift out the old CR2032 battery.
   • Insert the new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing UP (visible to you).
4. Reassemble: Snap the back cover back into place until it clicks securely, then slide the emergency key back in.

   • Apply light leverage to pop open the rear cover casing.
4. Replace the battery:
   • Pop out the old CR2032 coin battery.
   • Slide the new CR2032 battery in with the positive (+) sign facing DOWN toward the back of the casing (or as indicated by the small $"+"$ sign inside the battery tray).
5. Reassemble: Snap the cover back onto the key assembly until it clicks shut tightly.
