I used IPA to cleanse frame and behind display. Is there a possibility that made signinficant part ruin?

I don’t know the reason, the discolor disappeared in a few days.

@tpzvrxeb1qqmq5l Almost certainly some alcohol got under the display and eventually evaporated. Your screen should be fine now.

It definitely looks like liquid contamination on the screen. The good news about IPA (at least at higher concentrations, like 90% or higher) is that it doesn't leave behind residue, so with luck it should eventually evaporate out of the screen. I'd give it a few days, keeping an eye on it to see if it looks like it's getting smaller. You may be able to hasten that by heating it with a hair dryer; blow on it for three minutes or so, let it cool and repeat a few times.

If you've given it plenty of time and it doesn't improve then it may indeed be damaged, in which case you'll have to decide whether you can live with it as is or go to the trouble and expense of replacing the screen.

Hey,

I'm personally not sure if there is a way to fix it as I dont have experience with ipads personally. However if you do end up needing/wanting to replace the screen. I have found links that may help you. Hopefully someone else can assist you better with this issue.

Good luck,
