Why won't my iPod turn on?
i recently replaced my digitizer and touch screen assembly, only to find out i had a faulty digitizer. An hour ago, i replaced it again, but when i plugged in the lcd cable to test the digitizer i couldn't get the ipod to turn on at all. i plugged it into my computer to see if it was dead, but it won't even recognize that my ipod is plugged in?
i've checked the power/volume cable and everything looks fine, but i'm not entirely sure what i'm looking for.
When checking my power cable, what exactly should i be looking for?
also, if its not the power cable, which i don't think it is, what else could be wrong? could i have somehow short circuited it? any help would be greatly appreciated.
Is dit een goede vraag?
Me 2.
I have changed the digitizer and now it wont reboot. and it will not be recognized when i plug it into the computer.
I have tried to put a multimeter on the battery. and it says 3.9 volt. So there is power.
Cant find any loose or broken cirkets.
I have tested the power from the power button flex cable. that goes from the power button to the motherboard. and its says 1.47 volt.
But only from 1 of the four soldering.
When plugt in to pc, shuldent it start up and itunes starting to run. even if flex cable is broken ?
