How do I recover my screen after I laundered my I-phone?

Four days ago, my new I-phone went through the laundry for 15 minutes. The battery was flat, and the phone was off. I immediately removed the sim card and battery and ran a hair dryer at low heat on it for fifteen minutes, then left it in rice. I alternated hair dryer and rice for three days, then tried the phone.

The battery has fully recharged. The sounds I hear from the phone suggest that it is operating, but nothing is visble at all on the screen.

Is there anything I can do short of replacing the phone?

P.S. I am in France where I have a language handicap. Thanks for your help!

Dan Miller, "the first thing I would suggest is that you clean your phone. The rice is a great first step, but it will not fix your phone, nor will it prevent corrosion damage which might occur later on. Use this guide to clean your phone. It was written for a 3G but it will still pertain to your phone as well. The repair guides for your phone are here. After that you want to check this "There is really no a surefire way to say which part is the one that gives you the problem. I would recommend that you start it systematically. Start with the easiest part, and that is the display, replace that. If your screen is absolutely black, with no faint images, I am certain that this is your problem. If it would have faint images, I would recommend to take a look at the backlight IC and coil on the logic board. That repair is a bit more difficult due to the fact that those are SMD components." It's kind of (in a very simplistic description) the LCD is your light bulb and the backlight IC and coil are your light switch. Also check this question and multiple more on here. Try the display first. Hope this helps, good luck."

Probably your screen died. Replacing the display assembly may solve your problem.
