Why is my kia misfiring?

Most often, those codes indicate a failed intake, specifically the motor that controls the runners. But, because sometimes the runners themselves can bind, Id recommend doing the full intake rather than just the vcm. Thats typically what I see when I have anything with a 2.4l kia engine come in with those codes, although it is still possible to have a wiring issue

Amann, Kia has been making the Optima for many years now and there can be significant differences between the fifth and sixth generation models, and there were several different engines offered. So it's hard for us to be specific without knowing more about your Optima.
