Can't reset the bios on my Lenovo v510z

Hi all,

I got given 2 decommissioned Lenovo v510z all-in-one desktops but can't seem to be able to reset the bios.

They power up and work just fine when using the original m.2 SSD, but refuse to boot past the "America Megatrends" screen when I swap out the SSD for a 2.5" HDD with a copy of windows 10 on it.

I've tried all common solutions such as shorting the CLR_CMOS pads and removing the bios battery overnight. I don't work on desktops very often so it might just be a simple fix.
