Joe Rivera, have you tried to connect it to a wall charger? Did anything happen to the iPod? Has it been connected before? Have you done any work on it, does it have any water damage?

oldturkey03 I have connected it to the wall for first time and it doesn't do anything The only thing it does is when I connect it to the wall charger it says connect to iTunes but when I disconnect the charger it turn off, And when I want to restore the iPod from iTunes it says error 1604 I try everything

If it comes on with a wall charger but it turns off when you connect it to your computer, let it charge longer. If that still will not keep the iPod on, replace the battery. For the 1604 error, check on here http://forums.techarena.in/tips-tweaks/1...

Right now I would start off with trying to charge a battery with a wall charger, not' your USB port. It is possible that the iPod is totally discharged. If it does not charge, check the cable, and the dock connector as well. If that is all okay, consider getting a new battery, if charging from a wall adapter remains unsuccessful. Also, try to restart your iPod by:

" Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears."

Hope this helps to get you started, good luck.

Thank you for accepting my answer. Start of with the restart. Then the AC charger and the cable/dock connector. It has to be wall charger. If nothing after that, replace the battery.
