I cracked the the screen on my iPod touch 4gen so I ordered an new one and put it back together the exact same as it came out. Some times it turns white and some times it doesn't work at all. I don't know what is going on please help.

Try a reset by holding the power and home button together, if it comes back on white or black the screen is defective and requires replacing.

I ordered a new screen and installed it and it worked but did not sit down in the frame flush and the top hold button did not work so I took it apart and re soldered the hold button/ volume cable and now nothing works I was very careful and did not cut any cables or break anything I don't know what happened please help.
