Hello, I own a tab a8 and my screen became lose from the adhesive and the screen fell off and when it fell off, the Lcd flex cable ripped in half while the tablet was on.
Ive bought two different lcd flex cables and tried both and neither have worked.
the tablet screen wont turn on at all. any help is appreciated, thank you.

Hi, You should make sure the new cable is not torn or damaged. You can also try reseating Both ends of the cable. You should inspect the display to make sure that the connector on the display is not damaged. It is also possible that the display cable caused a short and fried the tablet.

Thank you for your response, unfortunately i've tried the things you mentioned and my tab a8 still didn't work so i guess the tablet is fried. I guess my best option would be to buy a new tablet. thank you for your help
I'm sorry that it failed. At this point my guess is motherboard is messed up.
