My laptop won't completely boot up.

I hit the power button and hard restarted my computer due to Safari freezing. The machine restarted, the apple came up in the white screen then goes to blue screen instead of Leopard background. Now all I can do is hit hard restart and it will do the same thing. Apple/white screen then to blue.

It will restart in safe mode but it won't do anything. Any thoughts other than logic board?

You can first try starting in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift key. Next try booting from your installation disk by holding the "Option" key down. This will load the bootloader, where can choose the OSX installation disk to boot from. On about the second page you will see the drop down menu at the top of the screen. Go to Utilities - Disk utility and run the verify. If needed run the repair. Then try booting from the hard drive. If this fails reinstall the system.

Hmm, it could be that some kernel is corrupted. Have you tried booting from the Leopard install disc?
