Hello I have a sanyo tv dp50747 I have had for 5 years. The last year it worked it put off heat, but still played good great picture. The last day it was working I was watching a show and it just went off and will not turn on now. Didnt make any sound or smoke when turned off. Its like its not getting power!! Any clue what to do or would it be cheaper to trash tv and buy a new one? Thanks for any help

Mark, hope you are handy fixing things. The DP50747 does have a couple of trouble shooting menu's that you should try out before deciding to get a new TV. I would start by checking those things out first. Justin is right, this particular model does have issues with the power board, but even that may be fixable by simply replacing a few caps or fuses.

Don't scrap your tv...you might be able to fix for less than $150. It sounds like it could just be a power supply issue.
Try out the company below for very inexpensive replacement parts.
