The salt indicator is highlighted as "salt is missing" but actually, after the washing cycle, the dishes are covered with salt and not "shining" as they used to be.
What I tried to do: refilled the salt, checked the cap that covers the "salt reservoir", cleaned the dishwasher and filters, and tried longer programs for washing.
Still, no luck to fix it

Don't know Beko models but are you using a powder detergent or tablet detergent in the dishwasher?
Also just verifying that the rinse aid level is OK?
If using tablet detergent try adjusting the water hardness setting to maximum and check. (see the section I referred to in the user manual linked below how to do this).
If using detergent has the water supply to the dishwasher (or the house) been changed somehow?
According to the user manual (see p.13 of 39 pdf numbering) if the water is too "soft" there is no need for salt (perhaps the salt won't dissolve?) but the light will stay on. Set the water hardness level to #1 and no salt will be used and the light will stay off.
Just something I'd try.
