I have a Maytag Quiet series 300 and it fills with water but doesn’t wash. In order to drain it I have to cancel the cycle then it drains. We had this happen before but I changed the wash cycle to sanitize and it worked but now nothing.
I believe my model number is MBDTT70AWS. Any help you have regarding parts would be greatly appreciated.

You may need to run citric acid through it to clean out the mineral deposits that can accumulate in the wash pump.
Unfortunately, these Maytag series have had numerous issues with the control board and control panels going out. It's always best to replace both as they work together.
If you post your model number we can recommend the right parts and further troubleshoot the issues you are experiencing.

Here's the Tech service sheet for the dishwasher.
Run the Manual Function Test and/or Field Service Test as described on p.5 and check if any of the components fail, especially the wash motor or the heating element.
If a component is faulty and needs replacing, here's a part supplier that is useful.
Find the part using the supplier's parts webpage and then click on the part in the list and find the manufacturer's part number for the part (not the part supplier's number for the part).
Search online using the manufacturer's part number only to find suppliers that suit you best.
