Why is my replacement top case flex cable too long?
I recently replaced the Top Case Flex Cable for my Macbook Pro (Model A1226). My keyboard and trackpad had been cutting out because of a common problem, so I thought this would help. It did initially (because it was a brand new cable) however I'm finding that the cable is too long, so once again doesn't lie flat (and therefore the battery pushes it, resulting in the case issue as I initially had). Could it be that the replacement part is in fact too long, or is it possible that there is blocking so the cable isn't seeding properly (and therefore makes so excess cable folds up).
Is dit een goede vraag?
