Why doesn’t my ice maker do anything? Even on test?

I have a saumsung rsg5ucrs, bought in 2014. I only had a place it could be plumbed in recently. The water pressure is good and cold water is dispensed no problem. But the ice maker does nothing. It doesn’t beep when tested and a ‘reset’ does nothing. It’s just disinterested in playing ball. Can anybody help me with this?
