Switch won't boot

I have a switch lite that won't even load the HOME menu. I can access the maintenance mode and have updated it (to 16.0.2) and have initialized it several times.

I do have a spare motherboard I could scavenge parts from.

What are some possible steps to fixing it?

(btw it's stock and not under warranty)
