Lost Nut for Logic Board Screw #13

While swapping out my front display, I lost the nut from the yellow screw in step #13 (iPhone 4 Logic Board Replacement). I was wondering anyone knows of a place to buy this piece? For the time being I just bent the Y bracket down to ground the board, but I would really like to find a replacement. Here is a picture of what it should look like http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s199/....

Thanks

This screw and nut are not necessary components. Sure they help hold the shield down. But not necessary for perfect function of the iPhone.

Wrong answer above. The nut serves two purposes: Helps hold the mother board down AND serves as a ground for the wi-fi. This nut is frequently lost when someone replaces the digitizer and they often without it they have poor wi-fi reception (sometimes no wi-fi signal at all).

hmm...on the link provided above in the question it isn't the wifi screw (marked green in the picture) that Chris Li is missing, but another screw in the bend of the logic board (marked in yellow) nowhere near wifi antenna ground. Are we all talking about the same screw or is this something you've learned yourself? afaik losing the screw that is marked in green on that photo, renders your wifi unusable...not the yellow.

hmm interesting, thanks for the info. haven't found/replaced the nut on my phone and wifi seems to be working fine, interesting.

I've been missing that nut since last june and I've had perfect wifi.

Same issue I lost the nut on the logic board that the yellow screw goes into (well it broke off) and no wifi I have to put my phone on top of my router to get a signal.

Also the green screw has something to do with reception if you take that out wifi works but very weak.

Snapped off the entire corner that the grounding screw is in because I forgot to remove it. &&&$. In the instructions they should really stress hidden screws. Hopefully if I put it all back together it will still work as everything will still be touching, though it won't be 100%.

I opened 5 iPhone 4 so far and 4 times out of 5 that nut came away, even if I pay attention; that's a very annoying issue.

I think that nut is vital for the gps signal, because after each disassembly the gps wouldn't work. As above-mentioned, I always bend the two branches of the Y upwards and downwards respectively and the gps starts working again.

It could also be a coincidence and the week gps signal could derive from removing the battery and causing a loss of gps data (ephemeris), any ideas?

I've actually lost the nut, which has lead to the microphone not working when making calls!

The only fix I could find was to stick the screw in place with a piece of card, so it still makes contact, and now I can make phone calls again.

Even so, if anyone knows where to get a replacement nut for the screw, that would much appreciated.
