Why is my ps3 flashing red and beeping 3 times?

My ps3 was working fine until I took it upon myself to take it apart and clean it. I watching a tear down video followed all steps to take it apart. I took main parts out like power supply, disc drive etc. down to the motherboard I didn’t take it apart out of its grey shell because I didn’t need to just wanted to clean dust. Clean the dust and hit some spaces with 99% isopropyl alcohol, the only places I touched with the alcohol was black plastic and the top of the disk drive on accident. Done cleaning put everything back but on screwing in the motherboard I accidentally used one of the power supply screws into one of the wholes( didn’t screw into it 100%) heard a lil crack stoped and realized and did it the proper way put everything back to normal and I was done plugged it in turned it on clicked on a downloaded game and in 3-5 min i heard beeping and flashing red. I tried my best to give the most amount of detail to narrow down my issue/answers. I’m not a technician but my own 2 answers are I shorted the circuit somewhere causing the fan to not start or I cracked my motherboard when using the wrong screw. Plz give me a strong for sure answer

Forgot to add I used air duster to get most of the dust out maybe 95% air duster and 5% alcohol

I'm wondering, where did you end up putting the power screw before you realize that something cracked and you were using the wrong screw? If it was in a place somewhere where it could have affected the CPU or something that is required for the operation of the PS3, you may have broke that part.

@anthonybadillo take a couple of GOOD pictures of the area where you used the wrong screw. A view of both sides of the board will be needed. It is easily possible that this is a torn trace or otherwise damaged board, but it depends on what area. Post some pictures with yuor QUESTION Voeg afbeeldingen toe aan een bestaande vraag

Right now, the best thing I can answer you with is that you may have ended up accidentally breaking a part inside your PlayStation 3. If that is the case where you may have accidentally broken a part then you will have to replace that part, unless it's irreplaceable that you may be stuck with a dead PlayStation 3. Can you boot the PlayStation 3 into safe mode? If you can boot the PlayStation 3 into a safe mode that means that there is something wrong inside the PlayStation 3 but it's not affecting the CPU or any chips that would be affected by the BIOS or safe mode boot up. I'm guessing it's more along the lines of the fan.

@anthonybadillo most commonly the red flashing light and 3 beeps is an indication of overheating and the console shuts down due to excessive heat. I believe what you are starting to see is the classic symptom of a very near YLOD. Of course, you do want to check your fan, connections, and your heatsink/thermal paste as well. Also, see my comment about posting pictures of the screw error. Even so it will be way less common than on the original PS3 it still has the same chip design etc. so, anything is possible.
