Why has the lens extended but, won't retract? Tried removing the batte
Lens extended won't retract. Removed battery, reinstalled no retraction.
direct dc connection to power source, no retraction.

@samweller81768 it is possible that the lens came off the guides. Try the ideas from here. Should that fail, you may have to replace the lens. This manual Fujifilm Finepix F810 will help you with that
