digitizer unresponsive after battery change

I just changed out my original battery with the fixit kit. In putting it back together, it starts but the digitizer is unresponsive. How do I fix this? It was fine prior to the swap.

Did some reading in the comments and tried unseating and reseating the ribbon connectors. Success!

Then I put the metal cover back.

All good except that weather sealing strip. That is awful and is not 100%...
