My verizon iPhone 4's rear camera seems to have small dust. HOW?

I purchased my verizon iphone 4 february of last year.

i never had any problems but since last week when im trying to take a picture with my rear camera, there is a small grayish circular spot. i tried cleaning the lens (outside) and i opened to back cover and cleaned the lens (inside) but it wont go away. I am pretty sure its not a pixel problem.

Is there possibly a way to fix it because apple store is pretty far away from my place.

also does ifixit sell verizon iphone 4 rear camera? i only see the front camera replacement part.

-Thank You-

First, and you probably have tried this, but, use the stock camera program. Just saying I've seen folks install and all they use is a 3rd party camera app and a filter can be enabled by default.

You could try to take an anti-static lens cleaning cloth and lightly clean the iris of the camera lens itself.

If that doesn't clear things up, then changing the rear camera would be my next step.

iFix it should have a rear camera, I don't see on listed, you might contact them directly. If they don't carry one let me know and I'll post a link to a 3rd party (since iFix it provides a great site, I always like to recommend them first on parts/tools to keep this site going).

I replaced the back cover on my wife's iPhone 4. She said the pictures seemed hazy. I took the phone back apart and looked at the back cover. Didn't notice anything at first. Then I took a picture with the back cover off. The picture looked great. So I went back to the cover. I held it up to the light. It looked hazy peeping through the camera port. So I took my knife and gently picked at the inside edge of the port. To my surprise and relief, there was another cover film! I had already removed one. But that was the problem. Hope this helps...
