kiedis smits "water crossing and got bogged" how deep were you in? For now, I would not try to start it. Change all the fluids (Oil, gas, etc. Remove and change the spark plugs. Change all of your filters (Fuel/Oil/Air) and check your wiring. I particular, around all the fuse boxes under the hood. Check the bulk connector that connect the wires from under the hood to the inside cabin. Make sure you checked your ECU at all the rest of the sensors. Once you know that all the water/mud/etc. has been removed from your fuel system as well as your electrical system, try to get it started and address symptoms as they appear. You could try an OBD scan and see if that brings up any additional codes. Oh yes, make sure you have no water inside the catalysator and the muffler.

Also, pull the spark plugs and crank the engine over for a bit to blow all the water out of the cylinders. Learned that one through experience.
