Xbox one crashes while trying to do a osu

first of all i know its not my psu. anyways a few months ago i was trying to do an update without the blu-ray drive (i didnt realise that) and it randomly stopped right before the update was complete. when i did realize why the update stopped i had already shut down the console. ever since then ive been trying to fix it by doing osu with the drive in and now it will usually shut down at 1% of the downloading step. i would really like to get my console back up and running normally so any help is appreciated.
