Need help identify micro usb port

I'm trying to repair my childrens Hyper X cloud flight headset where the usb-port is broken. But i'm unsure what to search for to get the correct replacement usb-port to solder on.

I would love to help, but this one image is simply not enough for me to view the situation. If you could put more photos of different sides i would be able to see what is going on

@tommyka get some calipers and take some measurements on the current port. Then with those measurements check places like this and compare the dimensions. It'll take a little bit of time but should most certainly get you the right connector.

@tommyka that’ll be good so we can try and help you find it. Looks like a pretty standard configuration…

I went through the micro USB connectors on mouser.com and I found two that look promising.

If you click on the data sheet links, you'll find measurements all over the place. I suggest you pull the board out of its chassis and turn it over. That will let you measure the distances and sizes of the through hole mounting points and compare them to what's being called out on the data sheets. If you get a reasonable match there, I'd go ahead and order one or even both of them (they're less than $2 USD each) and physically check them against the bottom of the board when they arrive. Verify that the solder pads line up for the five pins as well, and if they do then you can unsolder the old one and fit in the new.

I did come up with a much more expensive option for you; there's a guy in Germany selling an audio board for a HyperX Cloud Flight S; the board itself is not the same as yours so it won't work for you -- BUT, it does have the correct USB connector on it. Like I said, it's kind of expensive; with shipping to the US it's around $33 USD, but it would definitely work.
